Your Blog´s Name!


You can register a domain name for your Blog or simply use a sub-domain.

Either way, you need to think a bit about what your Blog is going to be about. The purpose of your Blog, what you will write about on your Blog…

The NAME of your Blog should describe the PURPOSE of your Blog!

Suggestions:

  • Before you go on to create your account with WordPress or Blogger, take a few minutes and read through steps 3 to 10.
  • This will give you a few ideas of what you want to write about, the purpose of your Blog. Write those down!
  • Then, come back to Step 3 and do some research on those subjects. Have a look at other websites and blogs in your category of interest. Take notes of what you like and what you don´t like on those sites.
  • Keep thinking about the name for your Blog or your Business actually! because you will earn money from your Blog!

* Our blog´s address is: https://smartersites.wordpress.com (this is a sub-domain)

You want people to remember your Blog´s name. One way to accomplish that is by registering that name in different directories, communities and so on.

Even if you have your own domain name, open a new email account with google

Example: smartersites@gmail.com

Directories & Communities
Use your Blog’s name when getting registered at Twitter, Technorati, Stumbleupon, this will create brand awareness and increase your search engine ranking…
